The Hellenic Society Paideia of Virginia is a non-profit, cultural and  educational organization dedicated to fostering and promoting Orthodoxy and the Greek cultural heritage of Hellenism, including the periods of ancient Greece, the Byzantine empire, the era of the Ottoman occupation, modern Greece, and the Greek diaspora. 

          The Hellenic Society Paideia of Virginia was established in January 1994 as a chapter of the Hellenic Society Paideia, Inc., chartered in 1977 in Hartford, Connecticut. The Hellenic Society Paideia of Virginia is open to all Virginians who are interested to support the goals, mission, activities and programs of the society.
